Congratulations to Sandbridge Beach for becoming Blue Wave Beach certified. This certification is awarded through the Clean Beached Coalition and only 50 beaches in the United States are certified. 

The Sandbridge Beach Business Association (SBBA) has announced that Sandbridge Beach is now a certified Blue Wave Beach.  This certification is awarded through the Clean Beaches Coalition and only 50 beaches in the United States are certified.

The SBBA is also organizing two other actions to promote keeping Sandbridge Beach clean.  The SBBA has acquired pet waste bag dispensers that will be installed at the 3 new beach access ways.  Also, 40 new covered blue trash containers will replace the white barrels at several beach access ways.  Residents can sponsor a trash container at the cost of $250 each.  Below are some photos of Business Association members assembling the trash containers.
